Uncharted

What roads lie dormant,

        Waiting for my wandering feet?

What paths are shadowed,

        Waiting for my spirit’s light?

What countries beg to be explored,

And cultures yet to be experienced?

What dreams are waiting to be woven,

And desires dying to be fulfilled?

Let fear, the enemy, be disrobed,

And seen for all its lies.

Let security shed its misfit mask,

And safety soften its guarded grip.

Let hope be bold enough to push,

My mind beyond the front doorstep.

Let faith shine bright and guide my joureny,

As I wander into parts unknown.

And may love warm up my tepid heart,

        To the unexpected and intrepid.

For I am, at my core,

Unbounded,

Unlimited,

Uncharted.
