Stirring

What is this feeling stirring within me?

Though ineffable, subtle, I can sense the shift;

Vivid painted dreams, from beyond the veil,

My awakened spirit soars with winds in the sail.

The energy flowing, impossible to contain,

Crafting thoughts, telling stories, an artist emerging;

My inner child reborn with memories from back then,

A voice, a whisper, wielding power in the pen.

Seeing the world more connected, more authentic, more real,

My soul understands, a different level of seeing,

For beauty and love and light do transcend,

Even though my mind fails to truly comprehend.

The rising sun of the morning reveals what is true,

Reclaiming the world from the darkness, the shadow,

So, I awake each day to the first rays of light,

With an inspired message for me to write.

After wandering the desert with so much doubt,

My soul still questions but without all the worry,

Trusting the spirit that speaks from within,

Breathing life after death, let the renaissance begin.

And so, I’ll continue to honor my soul’s calling,

Listening to the stars and the angels that talk,

All conduits of light, sharing the message of love,

In all of creation, both within and from above.

What is this feeling stirring within me?

Ever imperceptibly, every day transforming,

Keep talking, I’ll listen, I will try at least,

To capture the message from sun in the east.
